I'm tempted to buy one just so that I can put it in my profile to nark him. Maybe when I get a new contract, I might consider such stupid extravagances....Comment

Once the guy that hired him had officially handed over and left the office, 'Dr.' X was called into the new managers office as security cleared his desk. I was requested to have an onsite meeting just so I could see it happen and then we had an early lunch at a very nice place in Mayfair on the new bosses expenses.
The new boss was telling the story that Dr X really thought that he was about to get a promotion and had trouble understanding that he was getting fired. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

edit: I still think the classic is the Indian guy (possibly fictional?) who always used the title "BA (Calcutta) (failed)"Last edited by OwlHoot; 8 November 2009, 20:29.Work in the public sector? Read the IR35 FAQ hereComment
