So I ask whether they could check the status: "Errm. Err. We'll be in touch."

So I ask when they'll be in touch: "When the agent comes back from holiday."

So I ask when that might be: "I'm not sure. I'll get someone to call you."

For this they'll take 10% of the salary.

The client said at the interview they are facing a reorganisation but are waiting for the details. They are hoping to get the recruitment done before the details are announced, otherwise the empty posts may just be eliminated.

I'll take that as a recommendation.

I'd be thankful for such a clear indication of an agency on the skids, with morale at rock bottom.

If you started a contract with them, it sounds like they could easily go under, taking several grand of your money with them.

OK, here's a serious suggestion Richard.

Aswell as posting on here, why not start a blog like some of the other posters, and try and attract some advertising.

At least you'd be making some money doing this!

About what? I'm not aware of having anything much worth saying, unlike HAB and Bob Shawawadi. I can't see much appeal in a moaning on about agencies.

Dont be so modest! This is one of the most frequented threads on the forum.

I have applied for 457, though. Does that count for anything?
