Yeah. "There's nobody about at the moment; I'll get someone to call you." The people that interviewed me are in a meeting off site, and the HR bod I got was not the one dealing with this role (she's off sick).

Between (numpty) Agents and HR... what chance has anyone got?

I was promised I'd hear about the outcome of the interview by 4pm today.

I forgot to ask "What time zone?"

I've had a good day today. I managed to do seven applications for very relevant roles where I ticked all the boxes and the money was OK and four of them easily commutable. I think that's the best day I have had to date.

One of the agents I spoke to said (and I have heard this before): "That's a really strong CV you've got there; I'm going to pass it round my colleagues. I'm sure we'll find you something."

Mrc RC saw which way the wind was blowing back in March and booked us a week's all-inclusive holiday at Xmas. Because of that we managed to do our Xmas shopping at the weekend: a chocolate Father Christmas each and a bag of chocolate money for our little portable tree.

I reckon she ought to be nominated Chancellor of the Exchequer.

She sounds like a handy lass. I reckon you should get her a satsuma as well.

Seriously, it doesn't matter about pressies does it? I love Christmas when it arrives and I don't care about gifts

With four cocktail sticks in it, with a dolly mixture at the end of each one, for Christingle....

MrsF and I have a budget of £10 each, which will stretch to £15 and no more. Spend enough on each other and the girls throughout the year - I'd rather spend time with the family than blow money on pressies.
