    Books, probably. It usually is.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

Oh dear. I can't believe it is half past one.

If that agent hadn't sent me a job description to respond to, I'd have done bugger all today.

Opportunities are, no doubt, popping up on Jobserve et al and disappearing again without me even knowing.

I just want to go back to bed.

You can get an RSS feed of your saved searches on Jobserve. If using Firefox, set them as Live Bookmarks; then you can either refresh them manually, or set them to refresh at your chosen interval.

Well, F' me - jobserve has a job on it that I can actually do!!!

And, someone has just rung me about a niche skill that I have.

Don't fancy the location on either one, but can't be choosy at the moment - bring them on. Boomed etc. etc.

I too have been called today about a position I applied for - it had gone very quiet so thought it was gone.... the agency thinks I'm in with a shout.

I have been using WIZZ RSS as my RSS reader. It gives unexpected reults sometimes and today I get (as I open FireFox):

                Wizz RSS News Reader
                Announcements
Please uninstall the Wizz RSS News Reader add-on for Firefox as it contains security vulnerabilities.
                which is not too re-assuring.

Any suggestions for a good alternative? There are too many too choose from; I can't be bothered trying to evaluate all the dozen high-rated RSS add-ons.

I tend to use the RSS reader in Thunderbird, never had any issues with it.

Firefox does it as standard. Or put it into google reader instead.
