Yeah, right. It's like a tropical rain forest out there. Except without the forest. And the tropical. And the birds in grass skirts with no vests on.

Still got all the bleedin' spiders, though. I think the little sods come in out of the rain.

Where's your wife in all this. Why isn't she checking you're alive, going to the shops etc. Is she too tired from the constant (ahem) you keep giving her?

She is self-employed and works from home. The loss of my income has motivated her to be industrious. So although the house is occupied by two of us, I am mostly by myself.

Just crawled out of the pit.

I've got a stiff shoulder from the cold draught I've been under most of the night. So I couldn't find the inclination to get out of bed.

Get up to find: glorious sunshine and blue skies! I haven't seen those for a few weeks.

That's really, really good. It means the Missus can have her helicopter flying lesson this afternoon. The weekend one had to be cancelled because the weather was poor.

                  Jeez.

Ad says: "Experienced PM wanted, central government, experience of IT systems"

Agent says: "Have you IT PM experience?"

                  Me: "Yep."

Agent: "Sorry, they do not want IT PMs. My inbox has been bombarded by you guys. What is it with you lot?"

Me: "I am a heavily qualified and experienced PM with 5 years business change experience and, and, and".

Agent: "But you've done IT PM too. They specifically don't want people with IT PM experience."

Me: "So why put it in the ad?"

Agent: "It says experience of IT systems, not of IT project management."

It's the 'wrong kind of experienced' again.

The more you know (and can do) in this game, seemingly the less you're wanted.

                      It's Only Fair(tm).

                      It's nice to be wanted.

Bob Showadiwadi will be along soon to help them out, much cheapness with plenty quickness.
