I will propose it this friday and get back to you on success or failure. Only problem is imam doesn't wear a cloak.Originally posted by Mich the Tester View PostOn a silly note, when you go to the mosque and say your prayers, does everyone bob up and down in his own rhythm or do you bob up and down in unison? I’m just thinking that you could have some fun by bobbing up and down in unison and generating a draft of air so powerful as to blow the Imam’s cloak off his back.Comment

The state should not spend money to suit religious believes.Originally posted by sasguru View PostWhat difference that does that make? The state should look after all its citizens in an impartial way. I suppose Muslims pay tax too.
Re: the pools - women only days were requested by women generally, not Muslim women in particular. Its common practice even in Non-muslim areas.
Your arguments were never strong to start with now they're getting downright ludicrous.
Would you be happy if I was asking for snail, onions and smelly cheese to be served to my children at the canteen.
That would substentially increase the cost.
Youu would tell me to buy the stuff myself or to put them in a private French school.
And you would be right.Last edited by Le Rosbif; 17 June 2009, 14:57.Comment

I get asked a variant of this question by numpties in Holland; 'if Holland went to war against the UK' who would you fight for?Originally posted by sal626 View PostNo, but I wouldn't fight even if the UK went to war against a non-muslim country.
I answer 'I would go somewhere else', which sort of explains why there are so many refugees in the world; they're the sensible ones who didn't want a war.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment
