If western society declines it's not Muslims to blame but people like you who have abandoned the science and rationality, evidence-based way of thinking that arose in the Enlightenment and made Europe great.
Something simialr happened to Islamic culture a few hundred years ago. A relatively tolerant, creative and dynamic culture became narrow and inward looking and look where it is today.

However, some interpret that as meaning only fish: "Snails and all sea creatures aside from fish are impermissible to eat according to the hanafis"
