    [QUOTE=Drewster;773304]was that meant as a double-entendre.......

    QUOTE]

    Iain Duncan Smith came out with a good one, 'it's inconceivable that children of this age should be having sex'

    heh heh.

    If you are right though, Sally Anne, why are teenage pregnancy rates going through the roof ?

      It's the idea that somehow more sex education will reduce pregnancies, that I find somewhat illogical. What makes the powers that be think that the kids will pay any more attention that they do, e.g. in maths class?

          Believe me, there WERE people in your year shagging. Just cause you didn't do it doesn't mean it didn't happen.

          The difference now is that everybody is doing it now, thanks to our education system promoting it.

            It's obvious really. The more maths I did at school, the less I wanted to do it outside, the same with English, physics and tech drawing. Therefore the more I get told by the teacher that a BJ and large wobbly boobies might be nice, the less I would want to do it. Thats Logic that is.

              Of course his father is proud of him. He has won him a contract for 10s of thousands of pounds with a horde of tabloids to sell his story as his father.
              A girl in my class at school had a baby in the 3rd year, so she would have been 13, and her boyfriend was in the same year (but at a different school).

                Works in Holland. Though it's not just more sex education, but the way it's taught as well.

                  I don't claim to be an expert but I don't think - BJ and LWB end up in pregnancy............ perhaps I should have paid more attention at school?

                    Hit the nail on the head. If this 13 year old boy didn't look like he was a 9 year old there would be no story.

                      That's what I said - they have the same level of sex-education in holland, but the kids either don't shag, or use contraception.
