It's called stamppot groene kool in NL; one of a cornucopia of Northern European mashed potato and various sorts of cabbage dishes. My favourite's Stamppot Boerenkool, made with mashed spuds, curly kale and chunks of bacon.Originally posted by deano View PostI know that as Bubble 'n' Squeek. Grandfather died just before one Christmas. Partner of 4 years left me just before Christmas after an argument over who's parents we were having Christmas dinner with. The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
