The general view now is that ICESAVE reversed transaction made after Friday, what a bunch of ******* b*stards they are.

Is that legal? I am not up to speed on this so just asking. I seem to remember you or someone else saying they didn't declare or whatever they do till after you had done your transfer so you may have some legal road to get your money.
You need to check your icesave account again, see if the money has returned there. If it has go down every route you can to get it out.

Chances are you (and the rest of us) will lose most of it as we just do not know which one is going next. It's like the LOTTO. It could be you!!!!

Appears it is legal checking there terms and conditions, issue is though they reversed transactions made before they made the announcement, which seems under hand it should of been after the annoucment.

The report on this mornings news seemed to suggest that this was only effective in relation to the 20k euro the Icelandic government are supposed to pay in their compensation scheme.

Now that is a different matter. I do not see why the Government should be taxing me more from the pittance I earn so that some fat cat with 200K in their bank account doesn't lose out because he invested in some dodgy deal to earn more interest.
