We had a bit of frost first thing, then a tiny bit of rain which got rid of the frost, then sunshine all day which dried everything off.

I think I live in a micro-climate area.

Or a parallel universe.

Mrs D has trudged off to work (Mental sod)
I'm nice and cosy by the window watching the proles trudging through the snow, heading for the shops (Which are all closed) secure in the knowledge that we have enough supplies in the house to last six months, Including alternate gas heating, 7 kva generator, and lots of DVD's to watch.

Air is dry but bitterly cold.

I've changed desks so I'm now next to the radiator that works.

They have cleared most of the major roads now

The roads are free of snow but are a sheet of ice

More snow on the way for the weekend
