Anyone done that here? More specifically I mean anyone learnt it at an age where you think you're too old to learn new things, i.e. low-to-mid 30s?

I learned when I was sixteen. Taught many people 30+ to play and most are still playing.Comment

Your never too old. Good on yer mate.
Don't expect too much; but you can learn to strum a few chords. The guitar is a good instrument to be "ok" on.I'm alright JackComment

You can certianly learn to play it at any age. It all depends what you expect, if you want to become Joe Satriani in 3 months that isn't going to happen. If you want to be able to play a few songs and bits of easy solos then yes.
