Sally love, take your fingers out of your ears - Sockpuppet is right, e healthy diet, exercise, and plenty of water.

Don't think of it as a diet - think of it as a lifestyle change. Stop eating crap, have a healthy breakfast (muesli, fruit, etc), cut down on empty carbs (i.e. pints) and go for walks at lunchtime.

Slimfast's vitamins aren't natural and it's packed with simple sugars. Try eating fruit throughout the day as snacks, four small meals a day, plenty of water.

but what it will do is tone you up so you look better anyway. My wife has dropped a dress size in 4 months without losing weight by exercising 3 times a week (twice with a personal trainer)
Well, all I can say is that they're knob-jockeys. It is very difficult to eat at the same time as you're exercising, hence you lose weight.

Jeez, some of these plonkers can't see the obvious even if it is slapped around their heads like a wet fish.
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.

But for now...I just want to shift a bit of weight the easy way. Its hard doing exercise this big anyway to be honest.

Plus slimfast isn't as bad as it's reputation you know - it's packed with vitamins and goodness. Its probably far better for you than Atkins/Slimming world/etc. And you get to eat a normal meal at night.
At the minute, I eat a bacon and hash brown sarnie for breakfast, and a sarnie/something from the canteen+wispa for my dinner.

Is a shake and a snack bar really that worse?
There is no such thing as a quick fix when it comes to weight loss and keeping it off.
Drop the bacon, take some fruit and salad for lunch, and plenty water.

Evening meal times can be good, but watch your portions, use smaller plates and eat less.

I lost about 1 1/2 stonne by taking up a martial art, and really enjoy it.

It doesn't help that so many of us just sit at our desks typing along, its hardly calorie burning

If you've giving up the smokes then you can do this.. just believe... positive thoughts..
