What happens in the film?Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostMy mate (the one I tried to fix you all up with a while ago)...went on a first date with a 29 year old lad a couple of weeks ago. They went to the pictures.
She was telling me at lunchtime that they'd had a great night, snogged at the end too...but he never called back!
So we got a bit further into the conversation, and it turns out at the end of the film, this lad was crying!
Now...I'm all for "modern men" and lads being in touch with their sensitive side and all that...but my response to her was "Why was he even watching the film? Why wasn't he focussing all his attention on trying to grab your t*ts, like blokes do in the pictures?"!
This sent us off laughing, but raised a good point! What the feck has happened to men?!!!
Maybe he was upset that his flies were stuck, or that she hadn't realized that she was meant to reach right to the bottom of the bucket of popcorn that was on his lap to get the real treat.
Or he could have been thinking "bloody useless, frigid cow - I'd have thought she'd have gone for a grope by now".Comment

Maybe that was the cause of the tears - "I've wasted £15 and not even got a fondle of the goodies yet"Originally posted by Francko View PostBesides, considering the cost of the ticket, 10-15 quid? Better to go somewhere else and do it for free.Comment

Sounds like going to the pictures in Newcastle is a bit like going doggingThe court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”Comment
