Are you really happy to refer to your wife as Mrs Damp Cave on a public forum? -
together 20 years, married 15.
And yes - very happily married! (but don't make it too public, I have a reputation to consider...

Thank god!!!!!! Thank god for Fran!!!Originally posted by Fran View PostMarried 3 years, together 5 and half, two kids (why hang around)
Mostly Happy, if you're married and always happy you are lying through your teeth!
I was starting to think I was makign the biggest mistake of my life getting married!!!!
Me and my fella are mostly very happy, but not all the time!! Sometimes I think he's a right tosser! Sometimes I question us being together at all. Sometimes I desperately want to go out and shag other people (well, in my mind at least - dont know if I'd ever actualy do it). sometimes we both sit in and hardly speak to each other all night!
But most of the time, yeah we're happy and plod along quite nicely.
But reading the first few pages of this, I was starting to think that my relationship was never going to work. Surely you cant be blissfully happy all of the time?!!!
I mean I dont even have that with my best girl friend! The pope is a tard.Comment

of course not. But if things get a bit strained, you've an option - try and work it out or give up. And, usually, if both of you try and work it out, and make adjustments, then you carry on and things get better.Originally posted by SallyAnne View PostSurely you cant be blissfully happy all of the time?!!!
If you recognise that people and circumstances change, and are prepared to deal with that, then you'll probably be ok.
You can even fall in love all over again.
