The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.
But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”
IMHO women fall in and out of love much quicker than men. Then they find a way to rationalise their decision, I never loved him, he was a gobtulipe etc. At some time you must have loved him.
Don't get me wrong, I did love him.... a lot! But I was young and stupid and I think we really just grew apart!
