    £1.36/litre for petrol this afternoon. That's up 7p from what I paid last fill.

      USA needs a higher oil price. Permian basin is starting to rollover and with fracking you have to keep drilling to maintain production, much more than conventional wells.

      This is a move that leaves USA in control of the gulf, Venezuala, straits of malaca, panama and suez canals. All they need is the Greenland to control the gates to the north polar route, and the entire worlds energy supplies are directly under their control.

      Also the gulf is one major producer of helium, and the USA is the other. Helium is critical in semiconductor manufacture, so they have the option to put the squeeze on the asian manufacturers as they attempt to reshore production.
