    Hmmm. Improbable but not entirely impossible. I've found stuff nibbled to bits in my shed before and rats can get into attics.

      I would have used the word squirrels as they are quite common in attics but I would have upset someone....

        If he was telling the truth, I'd ask where he bought the PPE etc. from. If it was an online order, he should have an email receipt, or he could log into his account to view his order history.

        Also, as the article says, "none of them were necessary to carry out the role of a bus driver" and "the company confirmed that if Mukuna did have any expenses then Arriva would have reimbursed him".

          From here HMRC told the appellant he could amend his tax returns but if it was found Mukuna had acted deliberately then a penalty could be incurred.
