    Cold case

Hmmm. Not sure of the point in spending on legal fees to re-examine the Jack the Ripper murders.

        That's true!

PS Suppose some cold cases are worth looking at, if Jack the Ripper is still alive he could be a risk to London ladies.

if the investigation is privately funded it may provide closure to descendants. Its unlikely that Jack the Ripper is still alive.

Of course I'm, I mean he's, still alive.

Lucky I saw that news, gave me an idea for a silly story for the creative writing group on Thursday. Lady discovers one of her ancestors was one the victims. Then, when convincing evidence emerges of who the Ripper was, she researchs who his surviving descendant is and goes round and stabs him in a belated act of revenge.

Plot twist - surviving descendant is married to long lost twin sister, lady doesn't discover this until after the stabbing. Twin sister catches her in the act, then helps her as her husband has been violent with her over the years of their marriage.
