I was probably as dismissive of most when the news started trickling through about the 'woke' rebranding but must admit I'm looking forward to where this goes now. I think the concept car looks ace (minus the colours) and they'll undoubtedly change somewhat when (if) it comes to production but certainly looks bold and head turning. So far I'm on board with it and hope it works out. Fair play to them for pushing the boundaries and stirring people up. If they deliver something good I think they've nailed it.
That said I'm a bit confused that they've been slated for going woke using ' androgynous models in brightly colored, over-the-top outfits, including one man wearing a dress, along with other slogans such as “create exuberant,” “live vivid,” “delete ordinary” and “break moulds.' yet they've come out with the classic gender colours inviting the blue for boys, pink for girls argument? Seems to be a shotgun to the foot moment to me but I don't see it mentioned in any articles. I'm assuming this is just for the ads and there will be more colour choice in production so happy to overlook that for now.
