As I have said one side is desperate for security and peace. One side teaches children to kill.
President Bush spent so much time trying to get to a peace agreement where the israeli president gave so much - against the will of his people.
This was all answered by bombings and killings and Bush exhausted said I have come to realise that unfortuantely Arafat and the Palestinians dont want peace.

Israel had under Trump signed peace agreements with UAE, Bahrain etc establishing amazing trade and tourist links with these countries.
They were going to sign with Saudi Arabia - which is why Iran got their proxies to attack and turn the world against Israel as they knew it would lead to war.
Pre October 7th the Middle East was starting to see real peace. But Irans leaders are extremists and want death to Israel and the West. And they use the palestinians as fodder for this. This is why Egypt do not allow Gazans to cross into their country. Yet pre October 7th Gazans worked in Israel. Its all a play by extremist leaders in Iran.

The list goes on.... you need to please see what this is all about and understand that Israel has survived wars, attack after attack from all its neighbours over so many years and understands more than any other country the immense threats it faces and need for self defence.
Do the Palestinians not have a right to defend themselves and their lands?

That is not in dispute. It is the methods they choose to employ that are the issue. Methods that are supported by regimes that do not stoop to such depths themselves but find it handy to have a few thousand depraved terrorists to do it for them

Now how about you stop trying to be clever?

Perhaps the Palestinians should be equipped with similar weaponry as the Israelis that way their attacks would be equally as beneficent.

Or they could recognise Israel's right to exist and discuss living together peacefully. Just a thought.
Israel withdrew from Gaza 15 years ago in exchange for peace. In that time they got billions of dollars in aid. That all worked well.

Like I said, stop trying to be clever. Iran doesn't want a rival army in the area, merely someone to wipe out Israelis.

Who from? If they stop invading & shelling Israel then the IDF will leave.

Will they really? What about the illegal settlements in the West Bank? You're being naive if you think that Israel wants peace with the Palestinians. Israel doesn't want the lands granted to it by the Balfour Declaration, they want more. They have and are still persuing an expansionist policy.

You do know that Israel has over 2 million Palestinians living and working in Israel on top of the Gazans and West Bank people allowed into work on a daily basis? Israel's incursions were intended to protect their own borders originally, the only arguably illegal bit was allowing the occupation of the acquired territory. But that was pragmatic use of cheap land as much as anything else

That is what they did in Gaza and despite daily rocket and boundary attacks they left them to self rule.

                    Why not try and see?
