Well no further action against Rayner - as expected.

The fact she offered to resign means we knew nothing was going to happen.

Oh and Ed Davey was falling in sewage today. Doing the sort of acceptable mistake of a politician.

Meanwhile Tories have been bribing old people. No point having £200 more a year if you can't see your GP or get hospital treatment.

You really do have to laugh...

          From the BBC News website:
Earlier today during the Laura Kuenssberg programme, Yvette Cooper recommitted the party to scrapping the Rwanda scheme but indicated Labour may be open to alternative arrangements which involve sending people overseas to have their asylum applications processed.
Which translates to "So we will immediately ban the existing, partially paid for and potentially workable approach so we can replace it with another one at some point in the future when we can think of one!"

A lovely example of the total bollocks being spouted without criticism by all the major parties (I exclude minor ones, since they are mostly barking anyway!) . Politics is now officially a joke occupation for inadequate people.
          Blog? What blog...?

Any occupation is a joke if you want it be and unfortunately for politics most people want it to be

No it means "Vote 4 Us!" as we aren't the Tories.

Fake News being pushed about the election -

                  https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1ww6vz1l81o

Videos which have racked up hundreds of thousands of views have promoted unfounded rumours that a major scandal prompted Rishi Sunak to call an early election and the baseless claim that Sir Keir Starmer was responsible for the failure to prosecute serial paedophile Jimmy Savile.

Satirical, fake AI-generated clips show Rishi Sunak declaring, “Please don’t vote us out, we would be proper gutted!” and making unevidenced claims about how the Conservative leader is spending public money - including how he will send his “mates loads of dosh”.

                      Now Farage enters the ring.

                      Pity those in Clacton.
