Sometimes the world is too weird.

I noticed the spelling of neighbor twice in the article which got me a bit suspicious. Written by a New York based report working for the Daily Mail so appears all above board. I would have thought they would proof read or spell check before putting in a UK paper? Or maybe they don't. Interesting.

Ok maybe its me, but the idea that the 7th Oct attack was mercenaries not the faithful is quite shocking. Does sort of underline Israel's point.

Which point is that? Kill 20 Palestinians for every Israeli killed?

Israel - or at least Netanyahu - are quite happy with those figures. Their rationale is that if Hamas choose to fight behind a wall of innocent civilians, then the collateral damage is justified if it allows Hamas to be destroyed. It's brutal and harsh and possibly illegal, but it is understandable.

The other point to consider is that Israel has always said where they are going to attack - so why are the civilians still there, do you suppose? OK, so that works in the first week or two of the attacks, but is becoming increasingly untenable as Gaza runs out of places to get out of the way. Of course, Egypt and Israel could let the Gazan civilians out of the enclave, all you have to do is stop Hamas coming with them. Good luck with that.

Let them out of the enclave? Perhaps that's part of the problem.

Can anyone who can read Arabic tell vetran exactly what those (carefully cropped images of) “documents” actually say, because according to google translate, the main one is dated August 2023 and is from a group providing support for the wounded.
The one at the top says it is for repair of a mobile phone.
It's almost like this "evidence" is a bunch of receipts.

It's also interesting (or not) to note that nowhere in the Wail article does it refer to mercenaries.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Ah I see the Israeli's are lying. So difficult to tell nowadays.

Hamas disguising themselves as civilians and using civilians as human shields is not really their fault. Its not like Hamas have not done this before.

I didn't say that "the Israelis" are lying. I try not to group people together like that. I questioned whether the article and the language used in it was correct and honest.

None of the images show "documents that showed they would be getting payment for the killings that were written in Arabic"

One is a receipt for a mobile phone repair from 27th June, or do you believe that's a code for "payment for the killings"
