So we need to deport people from countries like France, Germany, Australia and the USA?

Other countries people commonly claim to have left have issues with human rights abuses.

Many countries are considered safe for Asylum purposes, Albania, India & Romania are considered among such countries. Apparently human rights abuses are currently available in such places as York maybe the French want a few of our displaced citizens?

If we expect every country to be as enlightened as the UK we need to abolish religion in every such country. Good luck with that.

It depends what you are claiming as an individual.

No free houses, money and healthcare in the USA though. Kind of odd these people desperate to escape human rights abuses are happy to travel through up to 6 Western countries to get here no?

Because there are no other options. Ask them if they want to stay in the States or get a free trip here and I'll bet I know what the majority will pick.

If they are that desperate then a language barrier shouldn't be a problem. I'd rather live in a country with a different language (even though English is widely spoken) than cross the channel in a dinghy.

I have no problem with us taking verified Asylum seekers via official channels. Its the illegal nature that worries most people.

How many we take and how we prepare for them (building homes, GPs, Roads, schools etc needs to reflect the influx) they will have to pay their way as well.

Cameron suggested we set up an asylum clearing centre close to the source and give them temporary leave to remain so we retrain them to help rebuild their country when the fighting stops. These countries need to evolve and the only way I know to make that happen is to establish a middle class that brings jobs & prosperity, when war loses you money people tend to stop it.

I reckon the Gendarmes would make Just Stop Oil protestors stop pretty darn quickly. Setting fire to their hands and a truncheon somewhere painful would focus their minds. Our police seem to want to poison them slowly with tannin and Lactose.

Actually there is free healthcare in the USA. Not as good as the NHS but far better than most Trumphole countries.

They know they will be rejected in France etc. they know they are economic migrants, I see Germany is starting to stagger under unlimited immigration.

And this is what the reality is. So yes, lets treat the true asylum seeks with care and compassion but lets deal with the economic migrants robustly. No problem doing our bit but we need managed migration, not open door soft touch.
