That's what they must have thought about you.

quite it does go both ways

        everyone's a winner

        back to the point

an interesting observation has been made here Franko,

and have you ever worried, are you as an Italian fighting an uphill
battle trying to rise through the management ranks in the UK ?

funny thing is, never ceases to amaze me how many brits are in
middle and senior management roles in IT for all kinds of companies
        all round europe

        says something doesn't it

        Milan.

          ....talking.....

Seriously, where are they? Never seen many to be honest (outside UK).

He has a point Francko, perhaps you should aim your talents somewhere that your cultural identity might not seem so incongruous? How about applying for a supervisor's role at Starbucks?

Milan, I am not talking about manager positions and riding the company politics. All I was saying is that there seem to be an absurd number of contracts offered for people with BA skills (release, configuration, change managers) whose higher achievement in life was completing A-levels and perhaps reading the ITIL book for dummies before going to the interview. Now, considering that these contracts are in the range of 500-600 it just sound like is money thrown out of a window while people with SAP skills, for example, are being offered 3-400 pounds contract (which require a dozen of years of skills perhaps....).
