"I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."

seems to be doing a decent job at ruining twitter.
FTFY
I'm only a casual user so am happy to sit back and watch it burn, it's the workers I feel for whose income and possibly careers are harmed or at risk on the whim of a somewhat capricious leader.

yes because so many of his companies have crashed and burned.

What has that got to do with anything? Twitter is quite publicly doing so. By Elon's own admission they have lost most of their income since he took over and users are unhappy.
Nobody has ever lost more money than Elon so the "he was successful before" is hardly a good argument.
You argument is basically "he's never done a bad job managing other football clubs, so he must be doing a good job now" as a team loses 10 games on the spin and risks relegation.

Well actually he has shown he can do a good job managing Beauty contests, Formula 1, Rugby, Hockey, hammer throwing, synchronised swimming and skating he has now taken on producing hit musicals and despite struggling it is likely he will eventually create an extremely profitable company. It may not be the one before or even much fun for the executives or users.
Musk is the Thomas Edison of our times, love him or hate but just invest in him!
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

It was running at a loss before musk took it over. Its staff cost are staggering. Also seems that lots of the tech companies are shedding jobs now as well.
Dont really have that much of an opinion on musk but a more open twitter seems to be a good thing.
