it was sarcasm, but apparently for Harry deciding to dress as a Nazi when you are 20 is everybody else's fault. -
Serving in the Army probably taught him restraint and to only react when necessary, it prepared him for situations like a confrontation with his brotherOriginally posted by d000hg View PostJust a reminder that Harry served in the army for a decade including tours of Afghanistan. I suppose that doesn't prepare one for the terrifying ordeal of having your necklace ripped and being shoved.
Suppose it will sell a few extra books.Originally posted by Stevie Wonder BoyI can't see any way to do it can you please advise?

Not sure about that. The mayhem that comes on nights out when the army and navy are in town doesn't suggest that. A heated argument with your brother is a different world to being at war so not sure it helped at all. But, we only have one story from one side that side hasn't garned much respect recently so looks more like a sensational book selling headline than a serious incident until we know more, but hopefully we don't.Originally posted by SimonMac View Post

William comes over as rather smug like Charles, Harry is more laid back like his father."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

Prince Harry details losing his virginity to ‘older woman’ in ‘quick ride’
........
“Inglorious episode,” the Duke of Sussex writes in the book, which hits shelves in the US on Jan. 10. “She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion.”
He continues, “Quick ride, after which she’d smacked my rump and sent me to grace.”
Harry, 38, seemed to look back on the experience negatively.
“Among the many things about it that were wrong. It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub,” he writes.

On a serious note I think that plays a huge part in all this. William seems to have avoided the same scars, at least to the same extent... whether because he's older or just the difference in their make-up.Originally posted by SueEllen View Post

It's very easy to criticise Harry (rightly in some cases IMO) but who we are is shaped by what we've been through.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

Im thinking Prince William is the new Prince Phillip.
I would be surprised if William hires a french Mercedes once this book is fully published in order to get revenge on his half brother.Former IPSE member

I think that is a massive part of what is going on. The radio show I heard described it in detail and it hit a note with me when I think of someone I know who lost parents at around the same age. The psychologist on the show broke it all down with examples and it turns out that William could likely be a pretty broken person inside but his royal duties covered most of it up and this is him just lashing out from an institution he turned against as he tried to deal with the death of Diana. Very sad but it all made a lot of sense by the end of the show.Originally posted by d000hg View Post

Spending as long as he did wrapped up in the same institution that he probably also (possibly subconciously) hates because of the way his mum and him was treated goes a long way to explaining why he wrote the book and hasn't any regrets. If what the show said is true it's going to get more unpleasant as time goes on.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!
