Ok, fine, in thus case I’d rather pay 40% tax rather than 45% since it has no effect on dog turds and garbage removals -
I’ll wait for IMF to sort oit dog turds then, and in the meantime pay 40% tax instead of 45%Originally posted by WTFH View PostIt clearly isn’t. They’ve been in power for 12 years.Comment

Or we could educate the populace to pick up their dog's turds. You do realise, and I hate to stand up for the Tories, but it's not actually the government's fault if selfish people allow their dog's to sh*t on the pavement. Just like it's not the council or Tory's fault if people throw their kebab litter on the floor.Originally posted by AtW View Post

It appears they've not made a U-turn on the 45p rate, but have changed their minds, swayed by public opinion. This means that those loyal to the Britannia Unhinged playbook will now be able to blame everyone else for anything negative that happens.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Well it was a ridiculous decision only the top 1% of salaried people pay it. After a decade of austerity it was indefensible.Originally posted by WTFH View PostIt appears they've not made a U-turn on the 45p rate, but have changed their minds, swayed by public opinion. It's not the people whose dogs poo in the pavement are the ones inconvenienced by it. The council doesn't clean it up because it's their fault, they clean it up because keeping roads and pavements clean is part of their remit. It's not the NHS' fault if I fall down my stairs, but they still fix me up.Originally posted by Whorty View Post

I don't disagree .... but we are blaming the wrong people for the turds being laid on public pavements.Originally posted by d000hg View Post

Your NHS analogy is whataboutery .... a fall is an accident, a dog crapping and the owner not picking it up is not. It's a deliberate act (or non-act) of the owner not cleaning up the mess.I am what I drink, and I'm a bitter man

You and others have spent two years moaning about an indecisive, lying, dissembling PM with no clear plan. Now you have the complete opposite, they are still to be held in contempt.Originally posted by WTFH View PostIt appears they've not made a U-turn on the 45p rate, but have changed their minds, swayed by public opinion. Any chance you could decide what you actually want?Blog? What blog...?

Who is blaming the council for dogs pooing on the pavement? I only see complaints about them not being cleaned up afterwards. The council's job is to keep the streets clean and safe. It's also their job to try and educate/penalise those who cause problems. But your local council can't really be held responsible for the inherent nature of man.Originally posted by Whorty View Post
