But they're not illegal are they if the contract was pre banning. That's what I'm asking, what was delivered and when? Could be a few thousand military sleeping bags and dried food for all we know based on what you have posted so far.

I agree by the way that we shouldn't be dealing arms to countries like Russia, Saudi et al at all, irrespective of if they have actually invaded anywhere. But you're making a fuss based on a Wail article with little detail.

Really? Personally never pledged allegiance to anyone but my late wife.

Is anyone saying you're a traitor to europe, or anywhere else?

That's the thing about democratic countries, you can't be a traitor for not supporting the policies of the current government, else 48% of the population (actually over 50% in the UK) would be a traitor. Not even sure 'traitor' is even a crime anymore is in it the UK ... not sure about individual EU countries (note - the EU isn't a country so each individual member will have their own laws )

Edit: high treason is still a crime, but you'd need to do some pretty bad sh*t to be found guilty, one of which would be rogering the Queen .... learn something new every day!

The EU and Europe are not synonymous. and Europe isn't an organisation. When did you pledge allegiance?

You're an Anglophile? So, you only love the English. Why do you hate the rest of the UK? Is it only Anglo-Saxons you like, not natives of the British Isles?

Then you can't really take any moral high ground because the UK export arms to many awful regimes.

It does and I wish it wouldn't however in this case the UK was in the right and obeyed the spirit of the law unlike France & Germany.

It certainly seemed so for you.

Nope. It's been proposed a few times, but it's not part of the state education system. Or did you grow up in the US and you've got confused over two countries beginning with the same letter?

Since when does being an Anglophile mean you exclusively love the English? Do audiophiles hate movies? Poor trolling.
