Oh and Priti Awful's Home Office has only let in 50 people.

The 15 year old brother of a British resident hasn't been allowed into the UK because he isn't a close enough relative.

Putin's disinformation as done a good job on you.
Yes. NATO didn't need to provoke Putin. We have had 70 years of peace in the west as a result of two strong nuclear-armed superpowers keeping each other at arm's length. NATO and the EU seem to have upset that nice balance by getting involved with those buffer countries on Russia's borders.

Dispassionate analysis obviously isn't some people's strong suit or welcomed or even accepted by them in others

You mean these "buffer" countries deciding for themselves what they want to do?

          Pathetic.

Yes, the EU's involvement in Crimea, or when the EU diverted a Ryanair flight to Belarus to capture a journalist, the evil EU are 100% responsible for this.

I missed the early 21st Century Russian invasion of Estonia, Latvia and Finland.

When given the chance they decided what they wanted to do, but what they decided turned out to be disastrous for them.

If someone decided to walk off a cliff, would you think it was a monstrous injustice that their broken bones meant they couldn't get up at the bottom and just walk away? No, of course not, because the laws of physics mean it isn't a very good idea to jump off cliffs in the first place. Only here instead of physics, it is the laws of politics.

The laws of politics aren't fixed.

Otherwise you wouldn't end up with Blairism etc.

Buffer countries were perfectly at liberty to do what they want. NATO shouldn't have encouraged them in my opinion. Also, those Buffer countries will have some degree of geopolitical awareness; surely they must have had some inkling that Putin might not be happy with their westernisation.
