The city was largely indifferent - except that Colston's money did a hell of a lot of good across it, for many years, well beyond the School and the concert Hall.
Just another case of virtue signalling gone mad with no reference to anything other than a bigoted, narrow and usually badly informed view of what people should find acceptable.
