        some random answers.

I didn’t ask my accountant actually, as I don’t have one.

All our vehicles have winter tyres fitted. I ran all last year on winters because I couldn’t be arsed changing them and we didn’t do a summer continental trip obvs)

we already have a Stelvio which we are keeping (not a quadrofogio though)

Sounds like a warranty is a must if I do go RR

        ta so far

Hahaha. You've got a lot of faith in insurance/bookies if you buy a warranty. I know a guy who had a really expensive warranty. It refused to pay out for his seized engine as they couldn't identify the root cause.

The only people who think those warranties are any good are car dealers as it simply shifts the risk away from them (oh and they get commission).
Car warranty companies are worse than recruitment agencies.

Are you buying the RR brand new (first owner) from the dealer and planning to sell within 3 years?

If Not - buy something (anything) else.

I know this doesn't answer the question, but I'm just about to lease one of these:

And keep my stash of cash.

Very true. I can't do a straight line in ice in my 350z so I don't get in the car if there's even a snifter of the stuff on the road.

Some would say that a car designed for drifting shouldn't be going in a straight line anyway...
