Mrs W chose My Immortal by Evanescence for her final song.

Beautiful song, but it still kills me to hear it.

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have all of me

You used to captivate me by your resonating light
Now, I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away all the sanity in me

These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
And you still have all of me

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me, I've been alone, I'm alone

When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears
I held your hand through all of these years
You still have all of me ah, me ah, me ah

I am what I drink, and I'm a bitter man

That song is on my (thankfully short) list of ones that makes me cry every time I hear it. I have to occupy myself with other things when it comes on

"Another one bites the dust" by Queen.

          Followed by "Comfortably Numb".

I have previously given this some thought and then I came to the realisation that I'll be dead and therefore won't care what songs get played. I doubt I'll have any family to arrange my funeral so it'll be a council job most likely.

You will probably end up with some young relatives who will crawl out of the woodwork to cremate you.

You may as well have fun and choose some good songs.

I'll be too busy dancing with my "sky friends", but generally our funerals are quite joyful affairs. Cue jokes about everyone being joyful I'm dead, etc

"My Way" is a bit of a poor choice in my view. The narcissist anthem.

I want my remains to be scattered across EuroDisney - also I don't want to be cremated first.
