              The problem is that if a car conks out while driving you can usually pull in gently to the curb and await the AA or RAC
              (or Merc free roadside assistance if you're AtW)

              But if a flying car does the same in flight, you'd go into an uncontrollable dive and land God knows where like a V2 rocket!

                    I don't really get why people pursue flying cars as a commercial venture, surely everyone can see the way the world is going with cars and air travel? What's the carbon footprint of what's effectively a private plane?!
