The problem is that if a car conks out while driving you can usually pull in gently to the curb and await the AA or RACOriginally posted by d000hg View Post

(or Merc free roadside assistance if you're AtW)
But if a flying car does the same in flight, you'd go into an uncontrollable dive and land God knows where like a V2 rocket!

I don't really get why people pursue flying cars as a commercial venture, surely everyone can see the way the world is going with cars and air travel?
