The usual Tory rent-a-quote mob were up in arms over this

      Criticising is his only talent.

According to Wikipedia, he said would refrain from "scoring party political points" and that he planned to "engage constructively with the government" in In his acceptance speech.

Did you drop a chromosome before posting? You may not like his politics, but the man is far from only having one talent.

"Starmer acted exclusively as a defence lawyer, specialising in human rights issues, before being appointed as a Queen's Counsel (QC) in 2002. In 2008, he became Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and Head of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), holding these roles until 2013. For his role as Director of Public Prosecutions, he was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB) in the 2014 New Year Honours." - Wikipedia

Might want to have read of what he got up to as a Barrister and DPP.

That photo isn't making a political point, it's taking the piss

Good one. He also needs to focus on sneering at working class northern voters.

The Tories learned over a few hard decades that having dull people in charge doesn't work.

This throbber makes William Hague look like Bear Grylls and no amount of cheeky social stuff his juniors come up with is going to change that. He is unelectable.

                  ...
I have Wikipeed on him before. What I was talking about are his statements in the commons as Labour leader. It's mostly criticism, less often any positive proposals on what approach the government should be taking on significant issues.

Yeh. We vote for people with Charisma. I much prefer dull people who do lots of planning and consult the experts before making any public statement.
