Maybe we're not being told the full facts, but based on what has been released so far from WHO etc this seems bonkers. Even halting the roll out for a week or two will cause more deaths and severe illnesses than the perceived risk of side effects. It does feel political at the moment.I am what I drink, and I'm a bitter man

There is vaccine hesitancy in Germany, France, Italy etc ,where due to their politicians disparaging remarks, their populations don't want the Oxford/AZ vaccine.Originally posted by Whorty View PostMaybe we're not being told the full facts, but based on what has been released so far from WHO etc this seems bonkers. Looking at the figures yesterday Germany, France, Italy etc have all only used up to a third of their Oxford/AZ vaccine stocks. In short their populations are refusing to take the Oxford/AZ vaccine so the politicians are covering their behinds by claiming it causes blood clots.Last edited by SueEllen; 16 March 2021, 08:38."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment

Politicians in EU got vested interest to blame specific vaccine hesitancy as the reason for vaccination failure.
They fooked up with Biontec/Pfizer orders too, but not to worry - Sputnik is to the rescue, would not be surprised if it's a stolen formulae from Oxfrod vaccine...Comment

Meanwhile there is a real chance Italy, France and a few others will catch up with UK's death figure due to slow vaccine rollout.Originally posted by SueEllen View Post

They will blame it on the UK even though they have stocks in.Originally posted by d000hg View Post

The main bottle neck in distributing vaccines in the EU is lack of vaccine, so if they pause for a few days it makes no difference as the vaccine doesn't go off, so they'll simply increase the number of vaccinations when it's been cleared.Originally posted by d000hg View Post

They don't have the stocks as Astra Zeneca are refusing to export from the UK even though the EU is exporting Pfizer vaccine to the UK.Originally posted by SueEllen View Post

On a survey of one. I had the AZ jab a few weeks ago and since then had two full blood tests. All the clotting type tests such as INR and platelets showed no movement even within the normal range. But I discovered nothing else but depraved, excessive superstition. Pliny the youngerComment

call me cynical, but that is what I think many are doing. The medical evidence of a problem is negligible. You are at far greater risk of a blood clot by taking the contraceptive pill but that's not being banned.Originally posted by BlasterBates View Post

Whereas a delay, that's 'the fault of the UK/AZ' followed by a surge in vaccinations, is politically expedient, and a valid public health strategy.See You Next TuesdayComment
