You're not been dense, they are two separate things, yeah I've had mine and someone else's share, I had very good health from 6 months until 50.But I discovered nothing else but depraved, excessive superstition. Pliny the younger -

But did you do the crossword?Originally posted by Gibbon View PostGot to have some pleasures in life or ain't worth living. After the op, which is f**king awful, I had devised myself a 'fitness test' it was to walk 1.5 miles up the hill to the pub have a pint and read the paper (Times) and walk back without leaking whilst doing kegel exercises. Worked a treat!
But why the fuss? I've been clear for over 51 years.

Monkey knife fight ?Originally posted by Gibbon View PostThanks everyone. 54 next month, not bad to say I was given the last rites when I was born. Had an infected gland in my neck, resulted a large sword like scar on my neck. When I joined the RAF (at 16) told the older bigger boys that it was a result of a knife fight, funny thing is never got bullied.

When I had spinal surgery on my neck I had an impressive scar across my throat. That's what I told people. Or that I cut myself shaving. With a machete.Originally posted by Gibbon View PostThanks everyone. 54 next month, not bad to say I was given the last rites when I was born. If any other CUKer had posted what you have tonight you'd have given them a ban ... BR14 with his violin was less offensive than this and you banned him.I am what I drink, and I'm a bitter man

I do think that 3 years clear is something to celebrate. And I hope he'll have at least 51 years of being clear.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

I fell on a metal gate-post doing DofE as a teen. No real injury, just a bad graze, but it left a lovely long scar over my heart. Still there decades later, no idea why.Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostWhen I had spinal surgery on my neck I had an impressive scar across my throat. That's what I told people.
