They are 2.5 miles from the entrance, the last 2 miles of which is flooded, much of it small passages down to as little as 1m across. The teams of experienced rescuers and cave divers all thank you for their efforts and simply can't believe they didn't think of any of this.
Should be all done and dusted by tomorrow afternoon, just in time for tea and medals.Comment

So, according to that they're 2.5km in.
There was a cave diver lost in the caves further up the Swansea valley.
