Juncker lavishes 24,000 of taxpayer cash on an 'air taxi' | Daily Mail Online

Junket Juncker lavishes 24,000 of taxpayer cash on an 'air taxi' for Rome jaunt and Eurocrats have fought for years to keep that - and 425,000 of his friends' travel costs - secret from you
Jean-Claude Juncker spent nearly 24,000 on private jet for one-night to Rome
The claims for two months of last year were 450,000 on 261 official trips
Campaigners have fought for two years for access to expenses of unelected commissioners, but EU has only released two months' worth
A large chunk of money was spent on chartered private plane trips
    World class spending!
"If you didn't do anything that wasn't good for you it would be a very dull life. What are you gonna do? Everything that is pleasant in life is dangerous."

I want to see the hand of history on his collar.

Drop in the ocean in the scheme of things, but that doesn't make it not a big deal.

Non-news, not shocked at all, seen enough stories of UK (and other countries) MP's using taxpayers money for exactly the same thing although I must admit some of them are quite frugal but it doesn't always work:

Geoffrey Cox: Tory MP has expenses claim for 49p pint of milk rejected by Commons | The Independent

Philip Hammond paid back 1.65 for milk and water claim | Daily Mail Online

MPs are claiming Amazon Prime subscriptions on expenses - Mirror Online
