If the French had voted for LePen we would be screwed.
That depends on your point of view. Brexit + LePen might have spelled the end for the EU, which would have been worse for the UK than simply Brexit. But OTOH a lot of the Brexiteers have been pinning their hopes on the EU collapsing so that nobody finds out how bad Brexit is and they can claim to be right. So from that POV, LePen is good for Brexit.

Macron might take a harder line in Brexit negotiations, making things worse for Brexit. But OTOH a harder line makes the EU look more unreasonable and that allows the Brexiteers again to feel that they were right meaning a better Brexit.

So really it depends on whether you care about the British people, or whether you want to feel that Brexit was the right thing.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Or whether you want to reestablish the British Free Corps.

So which of you put a £500 bet on LePen to win and are now claiming it was your 13 year old son?

              First time for everything

Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

I think that's why it is titled the Domino Defect and why the British domino has toppled the wrong way

Before we start crowing about dominos, let's see what happens in Greece and Italy over the coming year or two.
