All we are seeing here is as JO has pointed out - a couple of large whales selling off assets because they've been forced to, which has sent the rest of the market into a tailspin and state of panic. Of course this is going to happen in smaller, less regulated markets. Can you imagine someone selling off that many shares of a medium sized PLC such as Gama Aviation? It'd send all their shareholders into a panicked frenzy.
