There's another vote still to come, according to Theresa May - we're not leaving the EU until parliament has a vote, although it will be a pointless exercise as all the deals will be done before then.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

Congratulations! I'm not ready to sit B1 myself, perhaps by the end of the year. Mein articles gib mich zu viele problems! By the time I sit B1 it'll just coincide with 8-years of residency. Talk about photo finish.

Leaving an abusive spouse its definitely the best analogy.
Remind me again who made the first move?

What did you expect? A big hug and kisses on the news we're leaving?

          Mein göt!

No one asked them to borrow money. It's like Brits splurging on credit cards. Who asked them to spend money they don't have? Get a MIRROR and you'll get answers.

          Take some responsibility.

There's nothing favourable. It's common sense.

1.2m UK citizens in the EU. 3m EU citizens in the UK. We are happy to have those guys here as long as the EU guarantees the same. What's wrong with that?

We import more of their tat than we send of our tat to them. We don't want tariffs on our tat and in return we won't have tariffs on theirs.

Both the above appear very equal to me. In fact given the numbers, slightly favourable to the EU. Also just common sense.

The trouble is, when you put it as straightforwardly as this, it's difficult to see what the EU gives anyone.

...is the word Brexit as it's made up, much like a lot of the Leave campaign was
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

You're discussing individual lives as if they were pawns on a chess board and you ask me what's wrong with that?

I always thought a core value of UK beliefs were to put the welfare of its citizens above all else. Clearly, heute nicht.

you just sit there with your friends and blame your ex spouse for leaving you.

Please just read up on how Germany has handled the Greek crisis, just read about it. Then come back and revisit this comment.
