It's a Tory government. They wouldn't do any of those things.

    Try:

Improving opportunities for big businesses to make money out of privatising education.
Improving opportunities for big businesses to make money out of privatising healthcare.
Improving opportunities for foreign big businesses to make money out of privatising infrastructure.
Not giving a tulip about any regions other than the Home Counties until election time.
Cutting funding to local authorities, then blaming them for not fixing potholes, or for putting up Council Tax to raise the money to fix potholes.

And, of course, stepping down at the next election to spend more time taking on lucrative one-day-a-month advisory roles with the big businesses that benefited from those policies.

well that's all gone out the window for the next ten years because everybody's going to be tied up in Brexit meetings for the next ten years without any time of capacity to do the other stuff that they would have been doing had Brexit not happened

And to cap it all, the Brexit is going to be a feckup - no matter what Brexiters say, by the time everything is negotiated, we're going to end up like Norway or Switzerland, paying a fortune in to have the trade benefits, adhering to every law anyway, and getting nothing out - I told you so.

The scandal is that those who seduced the Brexit voters had no plan in place, because they never expected to win.

Brexit is providing a fantastic distraction to either hide other things the government is up to, or, enable the government not to work on other things, or both, because they are "busy with the Brexit"

I'm still considering getting the hell out and changing my nationality to that of my new host nation.

        French, in other words.

This country's a God awful rat race where you spend half your time stuck in a traffic jam to get to a mind numbing job you loathe but can't do without in order to service the eye watering mortgage you have on some identikit rabbit hutch of a house located on a bypass on the periphery of some soulless dump like Swindon.

Now, my life ain't quite that bad, but I think you get the picture

yes it's going to be very time consuming on the EU side, I can just picture it:

Britain: These are our Brexit terms, take it or leave it...

            EU: Non, Nein, Nej, Ne,

Yep, it's going to consume a lot of the EU's time say no.

              lol post of the day.

I read Theresa's speech yesterday, jayzus, if anybody believes that load of codswallop they need their head looked at.

Reading it made me cringe, it must have been a battle for her to keep a straight face talking all that nonsense.

And for those who lap it up, poor them.

So when Le Pen wins the election are you moving to the next country?

Sorting the EU has to be the Government's priority.

if only they would, sorting the EU out does not mean leaving the EU, the two are not the same

you don't fix something by walking away and throwing your teddies out of the pram

                  just saying like

well it seems to take forever for them to do anything.

Of course to fix something they have to want to change.

They don't want to, so divorce it is.
