We need more nuclear power. But not French built. Small, tidy thorium reactors should do the trick.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Is that the Pebble reactor that was much vaunted a while back?

About as funny as Climate change zealots posting pictures of floods or storms or Polar bears seemingly stranded on ice floes whenever they have something to say on climate change. It works both ways
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

Agree. There was a very good article, I think in the Torygraph, about these new reactors types. The article predicted that Hinkley Point will be obsolete by the time it's built, and the technology is not proven to work anyway!

EDIT, here you go, great article IMO

Temperatures are rising. Weather patterns are changing as a result. That is indisputable. We should be asking ourselves how we're going to survive those changes.
Let's start by doing what actually needs to happen and reduce the population by two thirds so the planet can sustain us

It's pointless talking about changing bulbs and driving tulipe cars when what we need is a healthy does of death

We had a thread recently where it was suggested that people should have fewer children. It descended into name calling quite quickly.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

No I am going to be a complete **** - you know those adverts about 'No child born to die' well here as an idea - stop having kids you cannot afford and expect them to be fed and not die.

All we are doing is perpetuating the cycle and not helping - we should pull out and let nature take it's course.

And thats just for a start.
