same reason you can't come to work in the Gimp suit its not professional.

If you had a bloke with his shirt undone halfway to his navel, trousers so tight the outline of his bits are obvious and wearing doctor martens up to his thighs do you believe that is business casual?

I like women dressing sexy but not overtly at work. I like to be comfortable that doesn't mean I get to wear shorts & t shirt at work.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

There's a woman here who has one of those tattoos on her back just above her waistline.

It's not normally visible until she bends over but when she does, her top rides up to show a family of meerkats peeping over the top of her jeans.

Now, how on earth can she expect THAT not to elicit comment?

If you are too stupid to realise by that age that a white bra under a white top means the bra is extremely visible and you need to wear one that is skin coloured, then you have to be told straight.
If the dress code states that bras should not be visible under tops, then fine. If not, what's the problem? If the problem is a "fashion faux pas", then our male IT contractor colleagues are in deep do-do.

The dress code wouldn't state that it would state "professional dress". What part of professional dress means delibrately showing your underwear is acceptable?

IMO that's just not acceptable and most certainly turns heads and invites discussion amongst the guys. It's business casual here with open neck shirts and trousers, most wear a suit but take the jacket off. People in jeans are sometimes pulled to one side on the guys but rarely the ladies. Most male managers wouldn't dare point it out although they should.

As I say what you wear shouldn't be a reason to be harassed IMO but honestly, some of the ladies really need to think what is and isn't acceptable at work.

Very good comment, i'm impressed and surprised.

I always had the opinion that we should stay away from male colleagues regarding romances.

One day in the office, I saw a stunning irresistible charming man in from of me, and I say to myself "Oh Jesus Christ"

                  Yes, I harassed him...

                  ...
                  ...
                  ...

... and we get married later.

                  Never say never.
