We were asked if we wanted to stay in the EU, we voted to leave.
I am fully behind this government who I believe has the mandate to carry out this process.

"People" would, if there was a program.Originally posted by minestrone View PostI think people just have to get with the program now.
1. No timescale. The "exit by March 2019" is already not certain - according to our PM.
2. No plan. "We're going to have negotiations at some point with some people about something" isn't a plan. A plan goes through the steps which need to take place to deliver the end goal within the timeline and budget. Which leads me nicely on to...
3. No budget. As yet, no funding has been set aside for the process.
A project with no timescale, no plan and no budget is not a project. Any contractor who does project work would know that. Anyone who thinks you can successfully deliver a major project without the above three is deluded.Leave a comment:

Because now* they don't have to deal with those onerous EU regulations. At least when only dealing with internal markets. Also, there's many opportunities to help out companies that are linked to the EU and will need to change their processes to deal with the now* onerous EU regulations. And of course Brexit leads to Britain becoming ever more prosperous° and that's always a good climate to start up new businesses.Originally posted by Paddy View PostWhat I find annoying about Brexiters is that in the media they go on about “Brexit brings the opportunity for businesses to expand and the opportunity for new businesses start-ups”. (had this yet again on R4 this morning) WTF, there was nothing stopping them from doing so in the past and why would it be different after Brexit?
* Two years after Article 50 is triggered, and entirely depending on the outcome of negotiations.

ClothCap would have been a better target for that. Nice that you think I'm young though.
