This just proves the point that the EU is clearly dictatorial. The commission dictate to the member states and the member states dictate to the commission.

Sounds like the UK will get a fast and good trade deal with the USA, Japan, China, India, Canada, SOuth Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, many South American countries and even Russia. But will get nowwhere with the EU.

The EU will have no trade deals outside of its own plunging economic members.

We can have freedom of movement with those countries as well. i.e. They are free to work in the UK and we will not be allowed to work in theirs.

BTW: The UK is the major force in Europe lobbying not to do business with Russia.
