Utter bollocks from both sides. This is a once in a lifetime decision. It's a shame our politicians are such petty children that they can't treat us with some respect.
There are rational arguments for leaving and even for staying [if you ignore the distortions and lies] but I don't think most voters like rational argument anymore and the politicians have figured out that facts get you called a "nasty Tory" or such like.

I get that from colleagues simply by quoting verifiable data on a number of topics.

I worry about the future here.

Do you ever watch sci fi movies which involve a dystopian regime where there are a few haves and the vast majority are have not's and are dirt poor, living in the gutter always living in fear of 'authority'.

Ever wonder how they got there?

It wad because sometime in the past they had the option to get rid of those few at the top, they did not and in doing so gave them cart blanche to do what they want and completely removed the ability to ever challenge them.

No doubt once the 'Germans' get their army they will only use it for the good of the EU and not to suppress EU states who oppose them - honest.

        This is so spot-on.

The problem is that most state schools push the notion that the state knows best about everything. The younger generation really believe this.

Most voters rely on the BBC for supposedly Neutral commentary but they just seem to cover migration and the mudslinging between the two camps. I.E. They are massively Pro-Stay.

If they (and to be fair, the Brexit campaign) focused more on the facts of what sort of an undemocratic organization the EU really is then I think there'd be a pretty quick swing to a 'Leave' vote.

As it stands though the only time you hear about these facts are when you research it yourself or someone mentions it on e.g. Question Time or in Comments Sections (only three of the referendum stories on the BBC News website allow comments, I wonder why that is?)

              But staying in

means we can control and influence. That's a big thing to loose just for some short term gain. Keep in mind the outies want retribution not change. You think for a moment the outies will become more politically active once they have their hands on all the controls? I don't for a minute. It'll be back to moaning before you know it.

: Oh dear oh dear, that's exactly what Juncker and his pals want you and the rest of the little people to think.

Pray tell what exactly would we control and influence in this EU superstate? It's far more important to have control and the ability to influence our future as a country, like we've fought for the right to have for the last 1000+ years. Than agree to give it all up because we (may) get cheaper phone tariffs.

I'm gobsmacked as to why people (save the self interested) think staying in the EU is a good idea.

Camoron has demonstrated over and over again, that we have no influence on the EU monolith.

We will have more influence outside the EU than in it, since in it, we have exactly zero.

Ah ,another conspiracy theorist, seems there's a lot of them in the Brexit camp. Time to put on the trusty tinfoil hat or should it be a Brodie helmet?
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.
