The remainers I know would very nearly all choose to join given the choice again. But as always those who are shouty about it are the extreme views on either side.

But that aside, they are pretty different things. Jumping into the unknown is a big decision and "better the devil you know" presumably applies to many people?

      Confirmation bias.

I was having my hair cut the other week. Woman cutting my hair said that all her customers were for Brexit however this area has a high level of working families displaced from London by immigration, so it's not representative.

Too many people in this country are dependent on the State and will always vote for naked self-interest.

Of course we don't know enough. And we never will with the establishment as it currently exists.

The sad thing is that it'll be a rigged vote. Remain will win and nobody will have a clue who voted for them.

Most remainers issues seem to be 'its too difficult to leave' or 'If we leave they won't be nice to us anymore' or 'We can't make it on our own'.

those all sound like a teenager hiding in their bedroom.

Unfortunately, both sides are at it.

War, famine, pestilence, cancer, even a fall in house prices have all been predicted by the In-ners if we vote to leave.

Utter bollocks from both sides. This is a once in a lifetime decision. It's a shame our politicians are such petty children that they can't treat us with some respect.

As has been pointed out here over and over again, the "jumping into the unknown" aspect applies equally, if not more so, to staying in.

Staying in will NOT mean "keeping things as they are", and people who assume it will simply betray their utter lack of insight and imagination.

Pray tell us how it will be rigged? Maybe you should inform the electoral commission if you have information pertaining to this or should the UN be called in to oversee the election? Inquiring minds want to know, plus your source.
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

This means Turkey becomes the gateway to Europe, and 75,000,000 Turkish people have free passage and rights to settle anywhere in the EU.

EU "Superstate" plans are well known. Total integration means central control over every aspect of your and your childrens lives. Once in place, there's no "repealing" or escaping this.

In many ways a vote for IN is a jump into an unknown future to which you will have no control and no democratic input.
